paparon
My server wasn't showing up in Network so I started trying things. Obviously not knowing what I was doing, I turned off SMB in the Settings page. Since then, I can't find my server using a browser and can't ping it using the servername. I don't know the IP address. I rebooted it using the Linux command line before I read about logs. I don't know Linux by the way, just typed "reboot". I'm using unRaid 5.0.5. My PC runs Win 10. Was turning off SMB the problem? How do I turn it back on? Can I turn it back on by changing something in the USB? Can I turn it back on through the Linux command line? It that is not the problem, what should I try? Thanks. bonienl
You can edit the file /config/share.cfg on your flash device and change to shareSMBEnabled="yes" Reboot your system afterwards. Quote Link to comment
paparon
Thank you bonienl. I will try it as soon as I get home. After that, I guess I should upgrade to the newer version. Thanks again. Quote Link to comment
