I just picked up a pcie usb card and I passed iit through to my Windows 10 vm. Mouse and keyboard are working just fine, but I am not getting any audio from my usb speakers.

 

I tried to change the vm settings from ehci to xhci to see if that would make a difference and that gave me a no bootable disk message.

 

Any ideas?

what type of card is it?

 

does win10 recognize the device being plugged in?

It's an Inatek card, and yes, Windows 10 recognizes the speakers. Apparently they are working now. For some reason I had to manually adjust the volume and they just started working.

 

I'm still wondering what's going on with xhci, though.
