unRAID and Docker GPU apps

Featured Replies

I've been going through the process of trying to build a docker app that uses the GPU. I've installed an NVIDIA 1050 card, but unRAID itself doesn't create any of the /dev nodes since it needs the drivers. I need the /dev nodes to pass through to docker with the --device arguments. I can't build the NVIDIA drivers the builder wants the 4.9.10-unRAID kernel headers, not the generic Slackware ones.

Has anyone gone down this road of trying to run GPU enabled Docker apps on unRAID?

I suppose my fallback is to build a VM and run as a normal app in the VM rather as a docker image.
