SAS drives not spinning down

I'm reading this as a known issue. Has anyone gotten SAS drives at all to automatically spin down, and is there a specific version I could check this out on? Specifically Seagate 2TB on LSI 16i + 8i.

 

Drives spinning down is "kind of" the idea for me going to unRAID, currently using NAS4Free which does do this but not directly (have to use the "spindown" command line). I can live with the ~30MB/s write speeds compared to 112 I'm getting now, as long as the drives do actually spin down :)

 

EDIT: forgot to add, I'm two weeks into running the latest unRAID. It's working, just not spinning down SAS-drives.

    Problem solved. Went back to NAS4Free.
