Hi,

 

I ran the installer just fine and upon reboot I get the attached screen shot: UEFI Interactive shell.

 

I selected "linux" as the VM type. I went through the installer the same way I've done on my bare metal Ubuntu Server 16.04 installs.

 

Don't know where I am going wrong.

    either use seabios instead of ovmf 

     

    or

     

    click the restart command/button on the VNC window, and when the bios loads, go in it an select your startup disc from there and see if it will persist after reboot.
