May 28, 20179 yr I try to avoid using the host terminal to get work done on Unraid, but sometimes there's no better choice available. One such example is cron. Docker cron like options exist, but sometimes you need resources that are available to the host which makes sense then to conduct the work from there. This as it turns out has a set of problems. One problem is loss of data on upgrade. The user defined cron jobs are wiped out. The history of the terminal is also wiped out. Is there any suggested ways to help retain this data so that it could survive an upgrade?
June 5, 20179 yr Author @CHBMB That handles the loss of cron scheduled scripts. That's good enough for me. Thanks!
