June 4, 20179 yr Hi all, I recently upgraded my unRAID server to 6.3.5 and having done so and rebooted it now says that I have an "Unmountable disk present" and disk2 won't mount. All the SMART data says that nothing is wrong however a parity check completed a day or so ago (before this issue) returned with "1 error" (I don't know if this is related or not). What does this mean and is there a way to fix it without formatting the drive and rebuilding the array? Thanks in advance. Edited June 4, 20179 yr by DigitalRobot

June 4, 20179 yr Check filesystem on disk2 (md2): https://wiki.lime-technology.com/Check_Disk_Filesystems#Drives_formatted_with_XFS P.S.: disk2 has a few UDMA_CRC errors, monitor that attribute for a few weeks and if there's an increase of 2 or more replace that SATA cable. 199 UDMA_CRC_Error_Count 0x003e 200 199 000 Old_age Always - 12

The "UDMA_CRC_Error_Count", which value am I monitoring VALUE, WORST, THRESH or RAW_VALUE? Also, could this be caused by the cheap PCIe sata card (that it's plugged into) or just the cable?
June 4, 20179 yr The RAW value (12), controller is a possibility but cable is much more likely, so replace that first if it keeps increasing.
