Not sure why i'm getting these errors all of a sudden, I only have 1 super micro aoc-saslp mv8 card plugged in the on board satas are not plugged in.Array is 6 drives one being the parity drive 5 data drives.

disk1 is at 69%

disk2 is at 26%

disk3 is at 50%

disk 4 is at 0% 

disk 5 is at 0%

I set user shares for Movies Share high water 3

Format is Movies-Movies-movie name-iso file

                      -TV-series name-seasons-iso file

                      -highdefmovies-movie name-iso file

Errors are as follows did a parity check all is good new data seems to want to write to disk 3 all the time anyone have any input on this or see any setting errors i might have I am lost at this point thanks Lou

Don't panic.  The "errors" are because you have put into place a myMain_local.conf file in unMENU that references drives you do not have on your server.  (You must have installed the new unmenu version)

 

They are not really "errors" but warnings.

Simply remove or rename the unmenu/myMain_local.conf file... Or, edit its contents to reflect your drives.  you can use the Config Viiew/Edit page in unMENU to edit it.

 

I personally keep my user-shares read-only.  I write directly to my disk shares so I know exactly where my files are placed.  Somebody else will need to guide you there.
