alaa
Hi, I just moved recently to UNRAID from windows 10 (Storage Space), I really enjoy its features and how its flexible with adding/removing disks. However I'm just wondering if its possible/useful to have option to create a mirror share, which will duplicate files across two disks or more. I feel it will make me more comfortable with the extra protection when more than one disk get corrupted at the same time. I'm backing up those file to remote site through crashplan but even so I'm still feel that this will give extra protection to my very important files. I know this can be achieved by scheduling a command to sync files between two shares (Each assign to specific disk) , however I wished if its built in feature without the need to maintain or monitor the script result. Thanks for this amazing OS. Quote Link to comment
bbanks
+1 to this idea. it would be a nice feature to be able to mirror a share for redundancy. Quote Link to comment
