August 3, 20178 yr Hi All Was trying to rebuild the parity after replacing a hard drive, it continues to throw errors and finally it says that it is interrupted. Are more of my hard drives failing or is it because if the Marvel Adaptor. Is my data currently available and safe? Can some one throw some light on this. August 3, 20178 yr Community Expert Disk dropped offline so there's no SMART, reboot and post new diags, it could be typical SASLP problem.
August 3, 20178 yr Author Thanks for the reply. What does typical SASLP problem mean. Can you please point me to the corresponding thread. Is there a workaround or solution or do I need to change the card.
August 3, 20178 yr Community Expert One of the symptoms is dropping disks for no reason, there are a lot of threads about it, some things that can help: -disable VT-d if you don't need it -use the controller in a different slot -update the board bios
