August 14, 20178 yr Hi, Looking for some advice as I'm new to this: So setting up from scratch I've got 4 x 8TB and 1 x 6TB drive for my main storage and parity lined up. I've also got access to 4 x 1TB SSD's (although Ideally I'd only use 2 of them as I'd like to keep the option to use these drives elsewhere) Is there any benefit (beyond space) of having 2 SSD's in the cache pool ? (Or would 3+ add some benefits ?) Thanks

August 14, 20178 yr Author Ah ok so can I check is there a way to set them up to have one of ? 1 - Larger cache (can't really see why I'll need this) 2 - Greater Speed. 3 - Redundancy Thanks
