Editing /etc/apcupsd config files

Featured Replies

Hey everyone,

I am looking to edit some of the config files located in the /etc/apcupsd folder. When I attempt to make an edit and save it, it will stick until I reboot the system. It then disappears. I am new to Unraid and I assume there is some way to write these changes permanently?

I would appreciate any help!

Thanks,

unRaid runs from RAM, and the contents of /etc (and many, many others) are recreated at boot time.  If you can't adjust the settings via the GUI, then you're going to have to make the adjustments via a script (ie: save a copy on the flash drive), and execute it either via /boot/config/go or with the user scripts plugin set to run at first array start.  (along with restarting the service if necessary)

Just added some entries to the go file like you said and it works great!
