October 27, 20178 yr Totally new to unraid and a completely new system/HDDs. I had started the parity sync previously but stopped it midway when I found out that I should pre-clear the disks first. I did that and started they array/parity sync and now I get the message in the picture attached. Fix common problems also says: Errors Found Suggested Fix disk1 (WDC_WD80EFAX-68LHPN0_7SGHEUGC) has file system errors (No file system (32)) If the disk if XFS / REISERFS, stop the array, restart the Array in Maintenance mode, and run the file system checks. Your performance will suffer. Install the plugin via the Apps Tab (Community Applications) I haven't even formatted the disks before. Should I stop the parity sync? What steps should I be doing? Thanks! unraid-diagnostics-20171027-1334.zip
October 27, 20178 yr Community Expert Pre-clearing the disks was not required - it is just used in a new array to confidence the disks. Disks that are pre-cleared will have no file system so you need to select the option to format the drives. Edited October 27, 20178 yr by itimpi
