Unraid lost network connection.

I'm running Unraid 6.3.5 since a few days. Somehow my Unraid server is not in my network anymore. It just randomly stopped. I checked my routers device table and scanned the network but my server is nowhere to be found. Also, tried plugging the Ethernet cable in and out. Nothing happens.

Now the real problem. I build my system headerless, that means no GPU and no possibility to access the console.

How do I safely power down the system? I have four options:

1.) Connect a keyboard, log in and type the "powerdown" command and hope the best.

2.) Press the shutdown button on the case. My mainboard supports acpi and it should be enabled.

3.) Wait and hope that it shows up again through magic.

4.) Turn the plug.

What would be the best thing to do right now?

you would also have to log in blindly.  Too bad you don't have a GPU you can plug a monitor into.  Without IPMI, IMHO you should have *something* just in case.  Even a $5 PCI video card 20 years old is better than nothing, as certain errors only get displayed on the local display.

Should work

#1 & #2 should work if the server isn't actually locked up.

#3 would be doubtful to happen if it hasn't already

#4 will definitely work

If this problem repeats itself on a regular / semi regular basis, then install Fix Common Problems plugin, put it into troubleshooting mode and do what it says.

I removed the cheap GPU. Learned from this time, I'll add it again.

Typing blindly shouldn't be an issue. I'll try that first, then the ACPI solution and if nothing works I'll take the bullet and pull the plug.
