November 29, 20178 yr Hey I am replacing a drive per https://wiki.lime-technology.com/Replacing_a_Data_Drive and my parity drive shows up as disabled after i replaced the drive. I tried googling but can't find a solution. Please help!
November 29, 20178 yr Community Expert Post your diagnostics before, ideally from when the parity got disable, before rebooting. Tools -> Diagnostics Also were you upgrading disk1 or replacing it because it failed?
December 3, 20178 yr Author i got an error saying disk1 was bad but i kept using it until i got a replacement. now im putting a replacement in and its saying the parity is disabled so it wont let me rebuild. i try to rebuild with the original drive and it says the parity is bad. im rma'ing the parity drive hopefully i can rebuild, then replace the disk1. until then i have it powered down. i hope i didnt lose my data.
