Server Crashes

Featured Replies

My server is constantly crashing. Once on it will crash within 6 hours of power on and the only way to reboot is by a forceful power shutdown.

- I have tried removing apps i.e sickrage, sickbeard, plex

- Updtaed BIOS

- Disabled on-board LAN & Sound Card

None of the above seem to work.

Has anyone else have this happen and what can I do to solve this issue?

Thank a mil folks!

I have reached out to Gigabyte and they have said there is no Marvell Controller on the board. As I stated VT-d has been disabled. Any other suggestions?

I didn't say the Marvell controller is onboard, it's a Supermicro SAS2LP or a Highpoint RocketRAID, if that doesn't help it's likely some incompatibility with that board, you can try v6.4 since it uses a newer kernel.

The issue is most likely related to the Gigabyte board, since another user has similar errors, looks for a bios update or swap the board.
