USB polling rate in VM (Solved)

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I am running a Windows 10 VM under unraid. The VM works well and the USB controller is passed through for k/b and mouse.

Is there any way to increase the USB polling rate above 125hz in a VM? (Doing this seems to make the mouse a bit more responsive and smoother in games on a bare metal pc).

I have tried the method below but it doesn't seem to change the rate in the VM:

Any help/advice is appreciated.

Cheers,

Rift.

Sorry guys, changing the polling rate inside a VM does work, amazing!

I was just not following the instructions correctly, clicking "filter on device" has made it work. For details check the link in post above.

I have a Logitech G900 and whenever I use it at 1000Hz it slows video playback on youtube and make AutoCAD unusable. I have to drop the polling rate to 250 to remedy this. Would this fix it?

I know this is super old but I'm having the exact same issue.  I clicked filter on device and it refuses to go over 125hz. Unsure what's blocking it. Any ideas? Thanks.
