Removed Disk from Array - Safe to Adjust "Disk" Numbering?

I removed a disk from the array using these instructions for shrinking array: https://lime-technology.com/wiki/Shrink_array

 

I know have Disk1, Disk3, Disk4, Disk5. Am I safe to Stop Array and re-assign Disk3->Disk2, Disk4->Disk3, Disk5->Disk4? So my numbering is back in order?

    Yes for single parity, parity2 will be invalid with dual parity.
