If I try a 3 drive setup w/ Basic and want to move to Pro, is my data gone? What is involved?

    You pay and send the GUID.

    You recieve a licensefile and copy it to your flashkey, reboot the server.

    No...you don't lose your data.  The "pro" license mentioned by parsec simply unlocks the code and allows it to recognize up to 14 disks (1 parity, 13 data).
