July 2, 201016 yr Hmm, methinks the price on the website is a bit higher than the ones advertised in-store. For our area, it's showing $115 for the combo ($105 after $10 MIR).
July 2, 201016 yr Author When I enter the item number 6149409 from your ad into the fry's search it comes up with the ad I posted. So, anyone wanting the combo should check if it has a lower price in the paper ad's at their store. The i3 530 cpu costs $114 by itself from newegg. The mobo is a good one as well.
July 3, 201016 yr I got this combo today for $115 (there is an additional $10 MIR for the motherboard). The reason for the different prices is perhaps the fact that the paper ad states the prices are valid from July 4 and the online ones are from July 2. On the paper invoice I had the $135 price originally but this was adjusted at the cash register down to $115.

Usually you can see the upcoming weekly sale on Friday newspaper from Fry's web site at Thursday night and some times the price for a deal in weekly promotion in store is cheaper than online (which is rather strange because store has more overhead cost).
