After much careful thought, reading, and study, I determined that I needed reverse cables.

 

Ordered some, then when they came it said forward on the packaging... checked my order history, and sure enough, I'd ordered the wrong ones.

 

DOH!  >:(

 

Anyways, if anyone has 1-2 reverses, I've got 1-2 forwards to trade...
