NAS will not boot

Featured Replies

Restarted my NAS and now it will not boot. Computer turns on, everything loads, but it doesn't boot. It ends right at the point where they flash key starts booting. I changed nothing in BIOS. I reset my CMOS, and adjusted the BIOS setting back to where it was before and still no boot. Any ideas on how to check what is going on? TIA!

Did you check the boot order in your PC's BIOS?  Several folks have found that certian MBs reorder or eliminate the USB flash as a boot device, which requires manual intervention.

BillK,

Order is correct with "removable" first.
