caesar99 Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 I think I'm just missing seeing this info in the GUIDE sections and other places. Can someone point me to a place where it provides guidance on which direction to go for file format such as ZFS, XFS, etc. Many thanks in advance!
JorgeB Posted February 6, 2018 Posted February 6, 2018 unRAID doesn't support ZFS for array devices, only reiser, xfs and btrfs, as for which to use, reiserfs is dead, so choice is between xfs and btrfs: xfs: more mature and stable, recommended for most users. btrfs: supports snapshots and auto cheksums files, less stable than xfs though IMO stable enough especially for array usage, recommended for more advanced users that consider data integrity a priority, better with ECC.
