Cache drive showing as "Unmountable: Unsupported partition layout" after v6.2 > v6.4.1 update

I'm kinda panicking to be honest. I didn't backup my appdata or VM's figuring "meh, what could go wrong?".

 

I figured it was time to do a little maintenance (last time was nearly a year ago) so i updated every pluging and container and then it was time to update Unraid itself. I did backup the Flash just in case but figuring nothing could go wrong with the drives i didn't backup my cache drive. 

 

After updating and rebooting it was showing as "Unmountable: Unsupported partition layout". I did check if it might accidentally be using the from format but it was set as XFS pre update and it tried to mount as XFS after the update.

 

Soooo, am i having some very bad luck or am i missing something obvious?

It's in the release notes, your cache was likely formatted with an older UD plugin version, basically you need to downgrade, backup your cache, upgrade, format and restore the data, you can use this to help with the backup/restore.
