Thanks!  I have 10,000 RPM SAS drives, but this does make a nice choice for Cache or apps that are online all the time on your unraid server.

 

For example, part of my cache is an always online NFS mount for other hosts.

 

I would consider an SSD only I do get nervous that there are thousands of uncorrectable offline sectors growing every day.

 

smartctl says 97% health, so I'll sit tight.
