Are there currently any development efforts towards making unraid faster along the lines of network communication.  I would love to have a solid setup that allows me to stream and record HD to andf from my unraid box...

We're very much interested in sufficient performance for HD streaming.  What is your current experience?

If you give me a week or so I can give you some information regarding HD Streams with unraid 4.0.
