July 22, 20187 yr Hey guys, My server finished a parity check about a week ago and posted 6 errors. I did another parity check again and it posted the same 6 errors. Is there any way I can see what drives or devices are causing the 6 sync errors with the parity? Thanks!
July 22, 20187 yr Have you recently had a hung machine or a power loss? Then you normally get a few invalid blocks because he machine has pending writes that doesn't make it to the disk. Exactly how many errors would depend on the actual write activity at that time. But the solution to that is that you must let the machine correct the parity errors or they will show up again and again for every new parity check you do.
