ca1221 Posted August 23, 2018 Share Posted August 23, 2018 I have two AS Media PCIe USB 3. cards (link below), and each one is dedicated to a different VM, one to Windows 10 and the other to Ubuntu 18.04. Each has been passed through successfully, and I know this because I can see the cards show up when I look at the list of installed hardware (i.e. "lspci |grep USB"). The problem I am having is that when I plug a usb device into the card it has no power except while Unraid or the VM is booting. Once Unraid or the VM is fully booted power is shut off to the USB devices. This happens for both Ubuntu and Windows, so I believe this has to do with an Unraid setting I am missing.
