I am setting up a vm of SteamOS on br1

eth1 is bridge to br1

Tried to connect steam link to eth1 ip no go .

vm and eth1 not on same sub net.

Can i do direct io to eth1 ?

Does it have to be a single nic card?

Can I use one nic port on a 4 port card?

Any help would be appreciated.

 

Solved

Edited " append initrd=/bzroot "

Changed to "append initrd=/bzroot vifio-pci.ids=(usb bus id)"  (8086:1c2d) in my case yours will be different.

Reboot and it worked' usb pass through of usb nic to VM.

This was vey hepfull .
