Found the answer here: https://wiki.unraid.net/Check_Disk_Filesystems Quote The SCSI, ATA, and drive device symbols will usually be different from each other, but the disk number, path name, and unRAID managed drive device name will be directly connected. Disk 7 will always be /mnt/disk7 and will always be /dev/md7. However they are not interchangeable, each has to be used in the correct context. Disk 7 is a human-readable label, /mnt/disk7 is a folder, and /dev/md7 is an unRAID managed partition. Link to comment
