6.6.0 Cleanup Appdata 'fatal error'

Featured Replies

Hello!

I was wondering if there any suggestions on why I see the following when I go to Settings > Cleanup Appdata

Fatal error: Uncaught Exception: [XML2Array] Error parsing the XML string. in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/ca.cleanup.appdata/include/xmlHelpers.php:197 Stack trace: #0 /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/ca.cleanup.appdata/include/exec.php(42): XML2Array::createArray('l1\x0F\xA9\xF51\x01\xBC\xE76uP\xB5\xC9\xE6...') #1 {main} thrown in /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/ca.cleanup.appdata/include/xmlHelpers.php on line 197

Fix Common Problems doesn't show any issues, and the server run great. I just want to understand why this is appearing

Ive attached Diagnostics after going to the menu option incase it helps

Thanks!

I use Mac and Windows interchangeably

Error appears on each platform. I think the only mac specific change I made was a samba command to prevent those _. files from being created :s

Pretty sure that there is those ._ files in /boot/config/plugins/dockerMan/templates-user  Either way, I need to handle this situation properly.

EDIT: I've already handled it.  Most likely you're not running the latest version (March 2018), or you've actually got trashed xml files in that folder.

Zip them up and PM them to me if you want.

I've definitely browsed the USB key share on my MAC in the past so those files our on there

I'm not seeing any files in MC though (it shows hidden files i assume?). I'll keep looking!
