igpu passthrough general questions

Hi, no idea if this is the correct place to ask some general questions about i915 usage

for my understanding

modprobe i915 is loading the driver for the unraid host ? or just enabling something (driver support etc) ?

the docker(s) use the /dev/dri ... do the docker(s) need to load seperate drivers for usage or is the driver loaded from the host then ?

and when its only enabling, may why its not so easy for an nvidia card to get enabled for dockers in unraid ?

just out of interest, i currently have my 2 nvidias passed to VM´s and my igpu is used by plex, emby and tvheadend, also wondering why

more dockers can make use of 1 gpu while a VM passthrough is only exclusive possible via pci-e passthrough

thats even a reason why i changed my setup, before i had my igpu for 1 of my VM´s, but as i cant make usage of an nvidia card for docker(s) i switched

and all is running good here, its just out of interest and my unserstanding.
