jrollema2
[unRAID version 6.6.6] Simply, my shares do not populate under Disk Shares on the Shares tab of the unRAID gui. I can use "Compute All" under user shares and the results show which disk each share resides and I can go to KrusaderFileManager and verify the shares exist and which disk they exist on. However, when I "Compute All" under disk shares some shares do not display (but they do exist on the disk through the KrusaderFileManager). And some of those shares that don't display, windows 10 cannot create a folder within them. Shares affected are: "TV Shows" - does not show at all for disk share compute; and windows 10 cannot create a folder in this share (see pic in post) "Videos" - does not show at all for disk share compute; and windows 10 cannot create a folder in this share (see pic in post) "Movies Too" - does not show at all for disk share compute but windows 10 is able to create folder in this share for some reason; and Radarr can import to "My Content" - does not show at all for disk share compute but windows 10 is able to create folder in this share for some reason "VM Storage" - does not show at all for disk share compute but windows 10 is able to create folder in this share for some reason I have also screenshot the share comparisons of "User Shares" vs "Disk Shares". According to the disk share "Compute All"" disk1 missing "My Content" and "VM Storage" disk2 missing "TV Shows" disk3 missing "TV Shows" disk4 shows correctly disk5 shows correctly disk6 shows correctly disk7 missing "Movies Too" disk8 missing "Movies Too" disk9 shows correctly disk10 missing "TV Shows" disk11 shows correctly disk12 shows correctly cache shows correctly Things I have tried: - reboot server - applied docker safe permissions many times each followed by a server reboot - upgraded OS from 5.6.3 to 6.6.6 followed by a server reboot - applied docker safe permissions many times each followed by a server reboot What is interesting, I can create a folder through KrusaderFileManager in "TV Shows" or "Videos" and then Radarr/Sonarr will continue the import process but will correctly import into "Movies Too" without me having to do anything. Last note; this seemed to happen when I added a disk and was consolidating files from many disks to just a couple (using unBalance and KrusaderFileManager). Could moving a share from one disk to another change folder permissions? Folder structure never changed, just disk location. What about moving a share from one disk to another where the share didn't exist on the destination drive? Thoughts???? Quote Link to comment
bonienl
You discovered a bug in the script. Share names with a space in them are not properly processed. Will be corrected in next version. Quote Link to comment
jrollema2
Wow. Strange. But what about the "Videos" share that cannot have a folder created within it from a docker or windows pc even though the popup window states there is space available? ANSWER TO MY OWN QUESTION: I had a 315G set for the minimum free space (Most-free allocation method), assuming this was for the entire share not per individual disk. I lowered the threshold below the free space of least filled drive; folders were created by dockers and windows 10. It would be helpful to be able to set a disk usage percentage rather than just a set gig size. Also, do you think replacing the " "(space) with "_" in each share name, then edit all the docker/vm settings be necessary? Better practice? bonienl
Not using spaces is safer, but Unraid should properly support names with spaces in them. 1 Quote Link to comment

I then change the share title to "Test_Share" and it computed just fine. Thanks for the help. Edited January 16, 2019 by jrollema2 Quote Link to comment
