Using Rsync

Featured Replies

Hi, I have been trying to sort this out and I figure someone here could help me out.  I usually have no problem transferring files from my windows PC to my unraid.  I use Rysn and have unbuntu shell on my Windows PC.  However I have been trying to figure this out going the other way.   I cannot seem to get the syntax correct.  On my local pc the unbuntu shell is called fs@DESKTOP:/ so for example i use rsync -n -a -v /mnt/o/uhd/*.mkv [email protected]:/mnt/user/Media/stuff

If I login to my tower via puty and do something of the opposite it never works... i figure this is a path problem and the undraid server can find the PC.  I can ping the IP but maybe the fs@DESKTOP needs to be be in a host file on the unraid server???

I'm sure I am making a noob mistake
