Question on Cache disk utilization

Featured Replies

Hi Guys, I just got my unraid install setup, i have a question about how/why my cache pool seems to not be using all the available space. I should have around 750gb of usable space in the pool but it's only showing 375.

Could someone explain why it's doing this? Or maybe I miss-configured something?

By default the cache pool is set up to run in BTRFS RAID1 mode which means the usable space is half of the physical space.   If you are not worried about resilience on the cache pool then it is possible to switch to using all the space but this requires manual action.

Ahh that makes sense, thanks!
