DeadSmurf
I tried out Unraid sever years ago and remember being able to attach it to my AD. I'm circling around to trying unraid again and can't seem to find the option to connect it to my AD. I'm currently using a trial of 6.6.6. I would rather have it connected to my AD so I can assign permissions based on users already setup there. Thanks!! Edited February 19, 2019 by DeadSmurf misspellings Quote Link to comment
bonienl
See Settings -> SMB -> SMB settings -> Enable SMB You'll need to stop the array to make changes Quote Link to comment
tuxfania
Is AD integration in all versions? Quote Link to comment
bonienl
If you mean "Basic", "Plus" and "Pro" versions, yes it is. 1 Quote Link to comment
DeadSmurf
I was there but don't remember anything about joining a domain. I'll have to check again when I get home. Quote Link to comment
DeadSmurf
Cool, I found it. Didn't notice the drop down to change it from workgroup to domain. I got it successfully added to the domain. My issue now is can I assign permissions to certain folders, user A can only access Folder A; User B can only access Folder B but both can access Folder C?
