March 26, 20197 yr Hi, I have a challenge to upload 3TB per day of backup to my datacenter, today I can keep a 500Mbps connection on the media to it, I got this number through Iperf. I'm going to use some backup agent like veeam to do the transfer of files, the idea is to upload a debian vm to install the veeam agent since it hardly has compatibility with Slackware. The first question is whether I should mount a Raid on my contraladora or simply upload the clean disks and Unraid to do the array. I have 8 disks sas 300GB 15K and a nvme of 1.6 TB to cache.

March 26, 20197 yr Author perfect, the second doubt is if I create a vm I can through it use the cache configured in Unraid for my backup tasks, since in this case I will need this cache so that I can speed up my data upload.
March 27, 20197 yr Author Sorry, I guess it was not very clear. I want to use the cache drive in my vm. I do not know if I have to somehow map the cache drive in my vm or another type of configuration.
March 27, 20197 yr If the share is set to use cache you just need to map the share, but you can map the cache if disk shares are enable.
