Unraid 6.5.3 Drives show properly in unassigned devices, not when added to the array

I recently had some issues with my flash drive and had to migrate to a new one. When I go to setup unRAID, the drives first show up in unassigned devices. They all show as file system xfs (except the 2 parity drives), and show the proper numbers under used storage and free storage. However, when I assign them as data drives in the array, the file system changes to "Auto", and I get a message that says Unmountable: No file system. What gives?
