October 12, 201015 yr This is a great deal on a decent PSU. Not the same as the CX400 that it replaced, but one I bought for my unRAID build. 28A on a single 12V rail. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139017&nm_mc=EMC-IGNEFL101210&cm_mmc=EMC-IGNEFL101210-_-EMC-101210-Index-_-PowerSupplies-_-17139017-L05C $20.00 MIR https://docs.google.com/viewer?url=http://images10.newegg.com/uploadfilesfornewegg/rebate/SH/Corsair17-139-017Oct01ct3110lt12.pdf Promo Code: EMCZYZN36
October 12, 201015 yr I'm going to jump on this one. I got a OCZ PS a while back with a video card for $40 after MIR, but didn't get the PS rebate in on time.. damn 21 days... so I think I can return it to newegg for $65 (even though I paid much less than that with the combo discount) minus the 10 bucks for shipping. Then I can get this supply for $20. That will put me still $35 ahead at the end of the day. --- Scratch that... The next page of the RMA process shows you the real number. I will be $5 ahead at the end of everything after shipping.. oh well live and learn..
October 12, 201015 yr I too once missed out on a Newegg MIR. I had a $30 MIR for a Corsair PSU that I bought a year and a half ago. I was so focused on getting my new rig up and running with all the tweaks that I completely forgot about the rebate. By the time I remembered it was too late - damn 21 days. I was pissed about that one for a while. For this reason I usually ignore the MIR when deciding to buy an item. If it's not worth it based on the purchase price I probably won't buy it. Then if I get the MIR that's just icing on the cake.
