I currently have 7 4TB data drives, 9 8TB data drives and 2 8TB parity drives.  I would like to make the jump from snapraid to unraid but I am not certain what the best steps are to accomplish this.

 

One of my biggest unknowns is I am not sure how to migrate my plex server from windows to linux without loose the metadata.

Is there a way i can run windows and unraid on the same hardware? ESXi? or do i have to make the jump to a Linux Plex-Server?

 

Would love to hear what you guys and gals think I should do. Thanks!

    3. Adjust your preference.
