hi Everyone running unraid  6.7.2 on a dell R710 

My Cache drive is is giving loads of errors 

Tower kernel: BTRFS error (device sdb1): bdev /dev/sdb1 errs: wr 100, rd 43348, flush 0, corrupt 0, gen 0

Tower kernel: print_req_error: I/O error, dev loop2, sector 4645056

Tower kernel: BTRFS error (device loop2): bdev /dev/loop2 errs: wr 54, rd 34624, flush 0, corrupt 0, gen 0
Tower kernel: BTRFS error (device sdb1): bdev /dev/sdb1 errs: wr 100, rd 43349, flush 0, corrupt 0, gen 0
Tower kernel: print_req_error: I/O error, dev loop2, sector 12422080

 

The drive is a kingston SSD attached by a usb to sata adapter if that's causing the problem i dont know

 If you need any of the log files. ive added them all to the post

Yes, SSD is dropping offline, USB is not recommended for array and cache devices.

Thanks for the quick response. I've moved the ssd out for now and going to use one of the drives from the array as a cache drive .
