Seems like many people run into this. Plex should really warn people never to change their password. Sort of poor security if you ask me. After updating my password, checking the box to "sign out all connected accounts" when I log back into Plex I get this message:

But when I try to  (accessing from Windows 10) it says I don't have permission.

 

Any ideas? And why would this be so poorly designed? 

 

 

Update. I changed the Preferences.xml file as instructed and still cant access. 

 

Is my only option to delete the Plex Container and start a new one? I spent a few days doing custom naming and artwork on my media. this would be quite disappointing if I have to start all over because I changes my password?
