I found this 850VA CyberPower UPS at newegg. It currently costs $79.99 and comes with free shipping. Use promo code: UPS1110 to take off another $10. Came out to $69.99 total with free shipping. The code expires on the 23rd.

I know many prefer APC(I have 4 APC units myself), but this seems like a reasonable deal to me. I did a trace(other sites not just here) on past prices and this seems to be the lowest, that didn't involve a rebate. So if you need this much UPS and like/try CyberPower, this may be the way to go.

PS: Anyone know if this unit works out of the box with UnRaid 4.5.6? If not would something like "Network UPS Tools" for linux be easy to setup, for a relative newb?

unRAID, as supplied "out-of-the-box" by lime-tech, has no support for any UPS.

APC brand UPS are supported through an add-on package that can be installed through unMENU.

That package installs "apcupsd" and performs the needed edits to unRAID to invoke a second "Clean powerdown" package, also installable through unMENU.  Together they will cleanly stop the unRAID server, then power the server down and then power down the APC UPS to save its batteries.

The same edits would need to be made by anyone using any other UPS software, so even if the unMENU "apcupsd" package does not support your specific UPS, it will be a starting point.

Any linux software can be installed on unRAID, most easy will be "packages" for Slackware, others will be more difficult.  Most will be a difficult task for a "relative newb" unless already made for Slackware.  None will know how to cleanly stop the unRAID server prior to powering down "out of the box"

I believe that some have reported that CyberPower PSU do work with acpupsd.  I am sure it would need some testing on your end and also do some searching in the forum to see what happens.

If you install the package and then can see the UPS status in unMenu you are on the right track.

The reports that I read on this forum said that the CyberPower DID NOT work with acpupsd.

See this thread.  I realize that it is a old reference but it may still be applicable.

After some google searching it seems like UPS reporting works OK but when it comes time to actually shut down that is when it fails.

SO, unless you feel like messing and testing a CyberPower out with unRAID you are better off with an APC brand UPS.
