My system is working with the attached configuration.

 

Because of only having problems with GPU passthrough and no support on that

 

I want to try switching the BIOS to OMVF and upgrading the machine type.

 

Is that possible?

 

And the vDisk Bus is IDE, can I switch to SATA oder VirtIO here also?

 

Switching to SATA or VirtIO gets Windows 10 booting but crashes with BSOD and "no boot device".

 

Switching only to OMVF I get the UEFI menu without booting Windows.

Do I have to switch to UEFI within the motherboards BIOS too?
