Asus aura rub sync.....

Featured Replies

Hello unraid shows the asus aura sync as a USB device to passthrough to vms on x570 mobo but can't find how to get it to work.... Has anyone figured this out yet, I can't find anything about it. If you need specs let me know but this is a cross platform question not an error persay

Is it really a USB device?

If so, either attach it to the VM the usual method or pass-through a USB controller and plug it to there. Your X570 mobo should have onboard USB controller that can be stubbed and passed through to a VM.

no its just aura thats built into the MOBO it just shows up as a usb device

can you show us the info with the iommu groups from System Devices under the Tools tab? (you should be able to attach a text file in your reply)

im actually having the same issue. I also have the Asus Prime X570-Pro MB and the "ASUSTeck Aura LED controller" does show up as  USB device to pass thru in the VM template but even doing this, it never works or shows up in iCue. I have followed multiple steps from videos and even from the corsair forums (https://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=192965) but still nothing. Im curious if the issue is that is a VM and not baremetal as i did get it to work before when I wasnt in Unraid.
i can post the IOMMU groups if required.
As a heads up, Im a noob with Unraid still, only been running it for like 6 months now.
