Time for an update After much troubleshooting, components testing and buying parts, it turned out that the issue was a faulty MB. I bought new RAM and the issue still happened, changed the CPU and same, changed HDDs just in case and no different. Bought and installed a new MB and haven't had an issue. No idea how the MB went bad or what in it is but that's what it turned out to be. As JorgeB stated above, logs didn't give any specifics but it all pointed to hardware. Identifying which was the headache but that's all past now. Hope anyone who reads this gets to identify their issue faster than me and cheaper as well LOL. Thanks for the help JorgeB.

Hi I did that and tried all 4 sticks individually and the server froze with each at different intervals which got me now confused since they passed the Memtest but I moved on and ordered new RAM sticks and installed them. Running a Sync now since I also installed a replacement drive for parity. It's currently running on Safe Mode and Maintenance mode at the same time (that's how the last Sync was able to complete) and should be done in a few hrs. Ill provide an update once it finishes or sooner if it crashes/freezes again.

Hello again. During our previous talk; while not running in Safe Mode or maintenance, i left the room and when i returned, it had frozen. Im attaching the syslog from the drive again and will check on the settings. I started a Sync yesterday (09/28) and left it running. It said it would take approx 14 hrs to complete. I checked it thru the day thinking that it may have frozen but to my surprise, it didnt. Last time i checked it was at approx 9pm and it was at the 80% completion mark but still running. This morning, i woke to a command prompt login page as if it had restarted on its own (one of the things it does if it doesnt freeze) but when i logged in, the parity drive icon was green instead of orange. Im not sure if it actually completed but it gave a notification that it did and found no errors. Im hesitant to believe its a proper parity but i shutdown the machine and extracted the syslogs and the last diags. there were 2 syslogs with today's date so i copied both. do-minion-diagnostics-20250929-0744.zip syslog syslog-previous

Good day and thank you for your info. I updated BIOS and made the changes suggested in your post. I then restarted in Safe Mode and started a SYNC but it froze again by the 8% mark. Im wondering if its something with the drive or something in config that may have changed. My main concern is not loosing the data in my storage drives. im trying to complete a Sync in order to replace some drives that gave SMART error. Edit: 👇🏻 After the previous freeze, I restarted and put another sync to run and this also froze at a different mark. See pic. Unfortunately I couldn't get syslogs since I had to force-shut the machine.

Good day fellow Unraiders I come to all of you in desperate need of help, assistance and guidance as I am at my last strand of hair with my server. Ive been using Unraid for some years now (approx 6 or 7) and all by following mostly YT vids. Ive gotten my server running quite well until a week ago when a simple drive upgrade put my machine in such a state that it cant even complete a Parity sync or stay up/stable for a few hrs. I've been banging my head for days trying to get this sorted out. I did some reading and online post and AI suggested that most times the issue is with either RAM or insufficient power. 2 days ago I put a new and larger PSU on it and started it, everything looked great until it actually took less time to freeze than before. Today (09/26/25) it completed and passed a over 24hrs Memtest on RAM without failing any test or pattern (64gb). Afterwards, I disconnected some components and left only the data drives and the parity drive i want to use; started the server in Safe mode and withing i set up the disk in the order they go and ever started the array in maintenance mode (figured it would reduce the chances of anything causing issues). Sync said it would take approx 14 hrs to complete and with about 8 hrs left (last I checked), i went have dinner and when I came back, it had crashed/frozen. As I mentioned, Im only good as far as those vids have taken me but Im completely lost when it comes to checking and troubleshooting. Ive been in the forums before and I seen how the first thing asked is the logs which I think Ive attached the correct ones. Hello everyone: Im trying to figure this out as Ive done a lot of research on the topic and found no solution online; even deleted the VM and Vdisk, installed a whole new drive to run VMs from and created a new VM but no fix. My issue is that if i connect any sort of headset, either wire or wireless, the mouse freezes. The audio never stops and i can hear the audio on the device. The moment I disconnect the headset, everything goes back to normal. Im using iCue, which apparently (according to some forums and sites) causes all sorts of issues and in some instances has even crashed when Im trying to troubleshoot; but Ive completely uninstalled iCue and done some troubleshoot and the issue persists so I dont think its an iCue issue. Ive also tried using another USB port in the MB and passing that port thru but still the issue persists. Ironically, I can connect a webcam and nothing happens, everything runs normal. Its only when I connect headset devices. My frustration pushed me to invest in a brand new headset thinking that it could've been an "old headset thing" and just so "there was no different brands" issues I went with corsair also but that didnt worked either. Now Im sitting here with a new wireless headset, an old wireless and 2 wired ones and it still happens. Specs: Win10 on VM as gaming rig 32GB RAM 1T M.2 SSD NVME Ryzen 5950X Nvidia RTX 3070 passed thru PCIE USB controller passed thru Like I already mentioned, everything works great, video, regular audio and a webcam with mic. Mouse continues to work, no crashes from iCue. The moment I connect any kind of headset, there goes the mouse. Can anyone help?

Good day all: Im having an issue with Sonarr not auto-importing files downloaded by Sabnzbd. when the download ends, Sonarr says "No files found are eligible for import in /downloads..." but when i manually go and do it, it works fine so i know is not a path issue. The only thing Ive noticed is that this happens with files that come inside a folder named correctly but named in numers-only format inside the folder. Again, when manually imported, i dont have to make Sonarr recognize or identify anything, just select the files to manually import and done. Can someone point me on what i may need to do or check? Thanks in advance. Edit: This only happens in Sonarr docker, I had a windows VM running Sonaar and it would auto-import everything so could it be a docker bug?

Good day all First, thnx to the developers for this plugins. Im fairly new to Unraid but these have improved my system greatly. Sorry for asking but I searched briefly in the thread and read that there were no support at the moment for the X570 boards or the 3000x Ryzen for the system temp plug in. Is that the case still or is there new updates? My setup is a Asus Prime X570-Pro with a Ryzen 9 3900x Im trying to get the board and CPU temp to show. Thnx in advance.

I turned off fast boot, removed boot keys, enabled legacy boot. Changed the boot order and disabled all other drives from the list. As for what specifically did it, I really dont know but it booted. Edit: I think I figured out what it caused my issue. I was leaving only the UNRAID USB drive alone as an option to boot from and "disabled" all other options/drives. Seems the BIOS dont like that, once I added another option (used one of the other drives that has no OS in) but left the boot order to boot the UNRAID first, it booted fine.

Hello all: New Unraid user here (approx 1 month). I have Plex installed and working fine until this past weekend when I upgraded some hardware and now, a lot of the posters are gone and even after I select "Refresh Metadata" they still dont show or even provide images to pick from. What can I check or do to resolve this? Thanks in advance.

Thnx for the advice, i was able to make some other changes and it booted.
