Wireguard IP Woes

Featured Replies

If anyone could help me wrap my head around this, I'd be grateful.

I'm using unRaid 6.8.2, pfSense 2.4.4-3 and Wireguard 2020.01.27 with a Huawai HG612 modem on a BT Infinity connection.

I'm trying to get my parents setup with Wireguard so that they can access my file server. I've followed the setup guide for Wireguard, except for changing the "allowed IP's" to 0.0.0.0/0 (Seems to be the only way to get it to work). The problem is that when I use a DDNS address, it resolves to an incorrect IP address. I've checked this against the WAN address listen in pfSense. If I use the same settings on my mobile, it works perfectly and I can access my files.

My current solution is to just use the current IP address but then I have to remotely connect every time it changes to make this change in their config file.
