VM help on Asus Z10PE-D8WS

Hi I just built an Unraid server 6.8.2 using a Asus Z10PE-D8WS motherboard with two Xeon E5-2629 V3 processors and the latest bios update from 6/12/2019. I wanted to setup some VM's and when I go to the VM manager I get "Your hardware does not have Intel VT-x capability." message. So I checked the info page and I see that HVM shows "Not Available" but IOMMU is enabled. When I follow the Unraid link, it says Not Available means my motherboard is not HVM capable but yet I have read other posts on the forums here with people using the Z10PE-W8 motherboard that are running VM's but I cannot get VM's working. I have been through the bios settings like 50 times but there is no place to turn on VT-x only VT-d which is enabled.

 

My other Unraid server is similar but uses a ASROCK motherboard and I have no problems with VM's on that server.

 

I'm I totally missing something?

I've just ordered a Z10PE-D16 WS, same board but with the extra DIMM slots. I had thought VT-X was enabled on the CPU by default, and isn’t something you can disable in the UEFI. It definitely is on my current Asus board, the UEFI mentions whether VT-X is supported or not, but it's informational rather than a setting. 

VT-D can be enabled/disabled, as that's a mobo thing. 

Reading the manual on mine, there is Vanderpool VMX you can enable/disable, which might be it? Vanderpool is an internal codename for Intel's virtualisation suite. 
It's enabled by default though.
