new pc build - strange connection problem

Featured Replies

Sigh

Just built a new NUC for media access with windows 10 installed and can't map to tower or any of the shares. Have tried a few solutions here with very little love.

what works:

In windows explorer under "network" I can see "unRAID" - which appears to be my MiniDLNA server.

I can access Tower from my browser.

What doesn't:

When I try and map to the share (\\tower\movies for example) I get a "The specified network name is no longer available" error.

Am running a half dozen other machines in the house with no issues, but this one has me stumped. It's odd that I can see the MiniDLNA server, but not the shares on this one machine
