UPS Network support?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a APC SmartUPS with a Network Management Card.  2 other servers run APC's PowerChute Network Shutdown.

I've read through all the threads describing UPS support, and it seems to be all about USB.

Does something exist for network shutdown?

Thank you!

The same apcupsd package can be used.  It is already network capable.

Looks like it needs to be in PCNET mode?

Can somebody help?..

On a related note: I have a PowerCom UPS conencted to my Ubuntu system with serial and I'm running NUT. Any change that apcupsd might support shutting down unraid based on NUTs network interface?

No idea... might want to look at the apcupsd manual.
